I could not figure this out ...the AGT baking shoes arrived today via regular mail. They were sent seperately with Addys Striped Dress and Kirtsen's Midsummer Dress coming later via UPS.

Jess who was ordered before this order will be here Monday and the order that inclued the AGT Baking clogs was made after the Jess order. Huh? Sheesh !! If AG orders come faster by the Post Office??? ...uh... why are we paying higher UPS rates? Go figure!

When I order from AG I usually have the order sent to our PO BOX, as I get it at least 2 days faster through USPS.

UPS usually is faster that the post office if you are not shipping USPS Priority. UPS includes tracking and insurance so if you include that in your shipping price at the post office it usually runs about the same. The problem I have with UPS is that they don't ship Saturdays. They don't have the long lines like the post office does, though.

I've always found that regular mail comes pretty fast.

My dd just ordered an outfit and a charm with her points in the club (so there was no shipping charge for them) and I just noticed that AG sent them via UPS Urban (ugh...that again!)

I wonder if they're shipping all of the coded orders that way, too, just like they did with our Code orders last year. Has anyone noticed?

I think it depends on your location.

For example, I guess we're a little more rural. We have no local UPS (the "local" UPS facility is about 40 minutes away)! If they miss your delivery, they will sometimes wait days before delivering it. They often mistakenly take it to the wrong town. I never trust the estimated delivery date with UPS. Especially if it's a Friday. If it's a Friday, I usually expect to get it the following Monday!

On the other hand, I'm usually shocked how fast USPS delivers to us.

Much having to do with delivery times seems to be based on the local level and also what priority packages are sent. Both UPS and USPS have really slow delivery methods, and really fast ones.

I've had things come USPS before (usually replacement parts) that were part of a larger order. The USPS is ALWAYS faster here. The UPS stuff usually comes a couple days later.
